It's not often the pictures are this clear.<br/> <br />NASA has released new video of a partial solar eclipse that happened on Thursday.<br/> <br />The solar light show which can only be seen in space was captured by NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory.<br/> <br />The partial solar eclipse lasted two and a half hours, the longest ever recorded.<br/> <br />NASA says this type of lunar transit happens two to three times a year.
