A Mexican family returned from the US to rural Mexico, and are now involved in the vigilante movement to fight the Knights Templar drug cartel.<br /><br />Heavily armed cartel members have controlled hundreds of towns and have extorted, kidnapped and killed for years.<br /><br />About 20,000 people have joined the vigilante movement in the Mexican state of Michoacan to combat the cartel.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's David Mercer, reporting from Coalcoman, speaks to one family on their fight.
