Protesters have taken to the streets of Lisbon to once again voice their anger over austerity measures. <br /><br />The action was organised by the General Confederation of Portuguese Workers (CGTP), the largest trade union federation in the country. <br /><br />The CGTP organised events on Saturday as part of a “National Day” of action. <br /><br />Members are worried that this year’s state budget will plunge people into further financial problems.<br /><br />The spending plan, as demanded by Portugal’s international creditors, will bring a third straight year of austerity.
