<p>Self-described “drag queen” and LGBT rights activist Rory O’Neill, aka Panti Bliss, made a surprise appearance at Dublin’s Abbey Theatre to talk about his experience with homophobia. His post-show oration follows controversy over Irish broadcaster RTE’s payout to the Iona Institute, a Catholic organization, which O’Neill described as homophobic on air.
