"The Grand Budapest Hotel" opens the Berlin Film Festival

The world premiere of Wes Anderson's star-studded film "The Grand Budapest Hotel" kicked off the 64th Berlin International Film Festival on Thursday (February 6).<br/> <br />The film stars Ralph Fiennes as a famous concierge who woos octogenarian widows at a Central European hotel in the 1930s.<br/> <br />In addition to Fiennes, the movie stars Tilda Swinton, Ed Norton, and Bill Murray - who enjoyed a beverage on the red carpet before greeting throngs of fans and media.<br/> <br />"The Grand Budapest Hotel" is one of 23 movies in competition for the festival's Golden Bear trophy which will be awarded on February 15.<br/> <br />The festival will also pay tribute to Philip Seymour Hoffman - who died earlier this week - with a special screening of "Capote."
