Sadegh Zibakalam, politics professor, at Tehran University talks to Al Jazeera about the latest statement of Iran's Supreme Leader.<br /><br />Zibakalam said that Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was addressing Iranian hardliners critical of President Hassan Rouhani's diplomatic efforts.<br /><br />"Maybe by using those harsh words, he is trying to calm down those hardliners," Zibakalam said.
