In Ukraine, protesters marched to the German embassy on Sunday wearing blindfolds and carrying blank signs.<br /><br />They accuse the European Union of staying silent during the ongoing political crisis in the country.<br /><br />Meanwhile, an estimated 70 thousand people gathered in Kyiv’s Independece Square where the Maidan protests have been held since November.<br /><br />Ukrainian opposition parties say they will continue protesting until President Viktor Yanukovych is ready to work with them.<br /><br /> “As we continue to protest, it is the power, the president, first of all the president has to find a compromise between him, the power, and the people” boxer-turned-opposition leader Vitaly Klitschko said.<br /><br />Klitschko called for a continued nationwide strike until there were changes to the system of government.
