Scientists in the United States say they are a step closer to producing a form of energy that would be clean, non-radioactive and abundant.<br /><br />In an experiment using nearly 200 powerful lasers, scientists at California's Lawrence Livermore lab produced more energy out of fusion than was contained in the fuel used to create the reaction.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Rob Reynolds reports.
