Mexican vigilantes claim that they, along with security forces, have liberated the city of Apatzingan from the Knights Templar cartel.<br /><br />Apatzingan, the business hub for Michoacan state's rich farm belt, is the only place that farmers-turned-vigilantes can sell their crops.<br /><br />Hundreds of vigilantes have joined a rural police force as part of a government initiative to drive out gangs across the state.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Adam Raney reports from Apatzingan, Mexico.
