In Washington, they're digging out from their heaviest snowfall this Winter -- a whopping foot of it.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (English) GEORGE HERRICK, WASHINGTON, D.C. RESIDENT SHOVELING SNOW, SAYING:<br/> <br />"Well, it's more snow than we're used to. I've canceled a lesson I had, so it's more snow that you would want."<br/> <br />Outer-lying communities like Browntown, Virginia saw even more of the white stuff. Concerns about road conditions prompted the federal government and many businesses to close for the day.<br/> <br />Still, with Valentine's Day just around the corner, Bob Waugaman says he's duty bound.<br/> <br />SOUNDBITE: BOB WAUGAMAN, FLOWER DELIVERY WORKER SAYING:<br/> <br />"We're going in, and get the store ready and we will get in a four-wheel vehicle and we will be out deliver peoples flowers today."<br/> <br />Others who ventured out of their homes --- prepared for the elements and seemed to enjoy a break from the crowds.
