Cyclist captures road rage with helmet cam

A London cyclist films near misses on the capital's roads as Boris Johnson vows to improve cycle safety at junctions.<br /><br />A cyclist from Croydon has become a hit on YouTube for his videos that document London's roads from a two-wheeled perspective.<br /><br />Gareth Williams, alias CycleGaz, gets tens of thousands of hits for his videos that show incidents both of dangerous driving and cycling.<br /><br />Using a camera fixed to his cycle helmet, Mr Williams records his altercations with drivers.<br /><br />He told the Telegraph, "As a road user in all forms -- I drive a car as well, I walk -- I'm interested in road safety and I think anything I can do to educate people or highlight issues I see as positive."<br /><br />Earlier this week the Mayor of London vowed to make 33 of London's junctions safer following the deaths of six cyclists in a fortnight.<br /><br /><br />"The cycling revolution will continue," Boris Johnson said whilst addressing a cycling safety conference in London.<br /><br />"This is not the time to slacken off or give up because if we get this right, the prize is huge.
