The Western-backed leader of the Syrian opposition, Ahmad al-Jarba, is paying a visit to rebel fighters in the northern Idlib province.<br/> <br />It's his way of showing support for them.<br/> <br />In video obtained by Reuters, Jarba spends some time with the rebels before getting into the trenches himself.<br/> <br />Jarba was re-elected as the Syrian opposition's leader for a second six-month term in January.<br/> <br />He had previously participated in the UN-mediated Geneva peace talks that produced little progress.<br/> <br />Though it was agreed that the opposition and government would meet again at a later date.<br/> <br />The civil war in Syria is now weeks away from it's three-year anniversary.
