Taking its cue from the current bad weather sweeping across Britain, the catwalk was flooded for Hunter Original’s spectacular show at London Fashion Week. <br /><br />Famous for its Wellington boots, worn by the likes of Kate Moss and Sarah Jessica Parker, the footwear is also a wardrobe staple at British music festivals like Glastonbury. <br /><br />This unisex collection featured a variety of outerwear, including ponchos, duffle coats and down jackets in rubber, plastic and neoprene. <br /><br />Drawing heavily on the brand’s traditional greens and browns, the collection also featured modern shapes with explosions of silver, bright yellow and electric blue. <br /><br />The grande dame of British design showcased a collection that was signature Vivenne Westwood. <br /><br />“I really wanted to epitomize even more my English look in clothes and so it’s a little eccentric,” she said.<br /><br />Westwood’s iconic tartan and tailored pieces were worn with crisp white shirts, matte red lipstick and bowler hats. <br /><br />There was also a risqué side to the collection which featured lacy shorts and mini skirts paired with classic mid-heel court shoes that gave outfits a retro feel. <br /><br />And if bowler hats aren’t your thing, look to Westwood’s alternative headpiece of choice: the silk headscarf – perfect for stormy weather!
