It's been one day since a bomb tore through this busy shopping district in the Thai capital...and the death toll continues to rise.<br/> <br />A young girl died on Monday from brain injuries sustained by the blast. Pictures of her can be seen on this medical volunteer's mobile.<br/> <br />Her four-year-old brother and mother died the previous day, bringing the number of dead to three.<br/> <br />And more than 20 people were wounded.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (Thai) PROTESTERS' MEDIC VOLUNTEER, PRASIT KERDPOOM SAYING;<br/> <br />"He (the wounded boy) is about my son's age. He was choking and I felt really sad and thought if he was my son, I would have gone mad. I can't accept this."<br/> <br />The attack -- possibly caused by a grenade -- took place close to an antigovernment protest camp in the heart of Bangkok.<br/> <br />It came hours after gunmen opened fire on another rally in eastern Thailand.<br/> <br />These demonstrators want Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra to resign to make way for an appointed interim government
