They are undergoing rigorous tests, and they're getting very positive results.<br /><br />And actual production for the consumer will start in November of 2010. Then will hit full scale mass production in 2011, and then ramp that even more in 2012. <br /><br />Price hasn't been decided yet, somewhere in the vicinity of $40,000, hopefully a little less. on the assumption they charge $40,000, minus the $7,500 from the federal government means the car would cost around $32,500 which is not much more than a normal medium-sized car.
