Ingredients: <br />For Filling: <br />2 tbsp oil <br />Salt <br />1 onion (chopped) <br />1.5 cups mixed vegetables (finely chopped) <br />1 tsp red chilli powder <br />1 tsp coriander powder <br />1/4 tsp amchur powder (raw mango powder) <br />Coriander leaves (chopped) <br /> <br />For Dal layer: <br />3/4 cup yellow moong dal (soaked overnight) <br />2 green chillies <br />1 ginger <br />Salt <br />Ingredients: <br />For Filling: <br />2 tbsp oil <br />Salt <br />1 onion (chopped) <br />1.5 cups mixed vegetables (finely chopped) <br />1 tsp red chilli powder <br />1 tsp coriander powder <br />1/4 tsp amchur powder (raw mango powder) <br />Coriander leaves (chopped) <br /> <br />For Dal layer: <br />3/4 cup yellow moong dal (soaked overnight) <br />2 green chillies <br />1 ginger <br />Salt <br />Method: <br />- Soak moong dal overnight and grind it with green chillies, ginger, salt <br />- Put oil in a pan and to the heated pan add salt <br />- Add the chopped onions and saute it till its soft <br />- Add the vegetables, mix them well and let them cook for 5 - 7 mins with the lid of the pan on. <br />- Once the vegetables are cooked add red chilli powder, coriander powder, amchur powder and cook it by mashing the vegetables a bit <br />- Remove the vegetable filling in a plate and let it cool, add salt if needed <br />- Brush some oil in a pan and put a spoonful of dal mixture <br />- Take a roti and press down till the dal mixture spreads to the edges <br />- Brush some oil on top of the roti (optional) and sprinkle some on the sides <br />- Once the roti is done take it off the pan and keep it aside <br />- Apply sweet chutney and green chutney and spread it all over the roti <br />- Put the vegetable filling in the roti and roll it <br />- Cut it into two halves and serve it with raita and kachumber.
