A gas tank exploded on Thursday outside this Turkish restaurant in Doha, the capital of Qatar.<br/> <br />Twelve people were killed, including two children, and some 30 others wounded.<br/> <br />A security source told Reuters the blast appeared to be an accident.<br/> <br />Early investigations suggest the explosion sparked a fire, causing part of the building roof to collapse.<br/> <br />The restaurant is near the Landmark mall, a shopping complex popular with families.<br/> <br />Doha itself is home to many foreign nationals.<br/> <br />Most of the 2 million people living in this Gulf Arab state are foreigners.<br/> <br />An official said all but one of the dead and wounded in Thursday's blast were non-Qataris.
