Rebel forces recaptured the south Sudanese town of Malakal one week ago and have been committing acts of violence against civilians since then, according to journalists.<br /><br />The rebels broke into a church and raped and abducted young girls.<br /><br />The only civilians remaining in Malakal are those too weak or too old to leave.<br /><br />More than 10,000 people are believed to have been killed in two and a half months of violence in the country.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Anna Cavell reports.
