Doing it yourself, you can end up saving a bunch of money (as opposed to paying Apple directly for the storage increases,) and it's one of the simplest upgrades you can perform yourself on the Mac Pro.

In order to perform the upgrade, you'll need a CR-VT8 screwdriver and a PCI-e replacement SSD module. That's it! It'll take you about five minutes (or less!)

Please subscribe if you like what we do here, or check us out at http://video.gearlive.com for our video archive, and our general tech coverage at http://www.gearlive.com.

You can also find us on
Patreon: http://patreon.com/andru
Twitter: http://twitter.com/GearLive - http://twitter.com/andruedwards
Facebook: http://facebook.com/GearLive - http://facebook.com/andru
Google+: https://plus.google.com/112999486101785602579/
Instagram: http://instagram.com/GearLive - http://instagram.com/andru
Pinterest: http://pinterest.com/andru
Tumblr: http://andru.tumblr.com
Fiesta Movement: http://www.fiestamovement.com/agents/DruSoIcy
