Opening statements begin in the trial of the man known as Suleiman Abu Ghaith... the son-in-law of former al Qaeda mastermind Osama bin Laden.<br/> <br />Ghaith faces multiple terrorism charges, including conspiracy to kill Americans.<br/> <br />Prosecutors have accused Ghaith of being the spokesman for al Qaeda after the September 11th attacks.<br/> <br />Outside the Manhattan courtroom, defense attorney Stanley Cohen spoke on Ghaith's behalf.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (English) ABU GHAITH DEFENSE ATTORNEY STANLEY COHEN, SAYING:<br/> <br />"My client.. our client has pleaded not guilty.
