INGREDIENTS: <br />1/2 कटोरी मूँग दाल <br />1/2 कटोरी चावल <br />1 टमाटर <br />1 पियाज़ <br />धनिया पत्ता <br />1 कटोरी उबली हुयी सब्जियां ( आलू , मटर , ग्वार फली ) <br />2 tbsp घी <br />1 tsp लहसुन का पेस्ट <br />1 tsp लाल मिर्च पाउडर <br />1/4 tsp हल्दी पाउडर <br />1/2 tsp गरम मसाला <br />1/2 tsp काला नमक <br />नमक <br />सुखी लाल मिर्च <br />2 लौंग <br />2 दालचीनी <br />1 tsp जीरा <br /> <br />METHOD- <br />- Mix rice and moong dal together with water and turmeric powder. <br />- Pressure cook it for 3-4 whistles. <br />- Heat 1 and 1/2 tablespoons of clarified butter (ghee) in a round bottom pan. <br />- Once its hot, add cumin seeds, cinnamon, cloves and dry red chilli. <br />- After few seconds, add onions, coriander leaves, chopped tomatoes. <br />- Add all the spices - garam masala, red chilli powder. <br />- Add black salt and regular salt as per taste. Cook this till the tomatoes turn soft. <br />- Add the pressure cooked rice and daal mixture. <br />- Add water and mix it well. <br />- Add all the mixed boiled vegetables. <br />- Add water as required. Cover the pan and let the khichdi simmer for 5 minutes. <br />- Garnish with coriander leaves.
