INGREDIENTS: <br />1/4 कटोरी तुर दाल <br />1/2 कटोरी चने कि दाल <br />1 बारीक़ कटे पियाज़ <br />1&1/2 बारीक़ कटे टमाटर <br />3-4 tbsp घी <br />1/4 tsp हल्दी पाउडर <br />धनिया पत्ता <br />2 बारीक़ कटी हरी मिर्च <br />1/2 tsp जीरा <br />1 दालचीनी <br />2 लॉन्ग <br />1/2 tspलाल मिर्च पाउडर <br />1/4 tsp हींग <br />1 & 1/2 tbsp बारीक़ कटे लहसुन <br />नमक <br />सुखी लाल मिर्च <br /> <br />METHOD: <br />- Take both the lentils, wash them thoroughly. <br />- Soak them for half an hour in 1 and half cup water. <br />- Pressure cook it for 3-4 whistles. <br />- Take 1 and half tbsp ghee, keeping the remaining for the tadka. <br />- Add the seasoning ingredients- cumin seeds, cloves and the cinnamon stick. <br />- Add onions, saute until translucent. <br />- Add tomatoes, green chillies,turmeric powder, red chilly powder. <br />- Pour in the dal and mix well. <br />- Add water if required. <br />- Add salt. <br />- Sprinkle coriander leaves. <br />- Let it simmer for 5-6 min. <br /> <br />TADKA- <br />- Heat the remaining ghee in a small pan. <br />- Add a whole dry red chilly, 1/4 tsp asafoetida and chopped garlic. <br />- Stir and pour it all over the dal. <br /> <br />Director: Kunal Bhojane <br />Camera: Jay Nayak <br />Editing: Ravi Varma <br />Script: Neha Sarkar <br />Voice Over: Mohita Namjoshi <br />Creative Head: Kavya Krishnaswamy <br />Producer: Rajjat A.
