ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)<br/> <br />STORY: U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry on Thursday took advantage of a short break in his busy schedule to pay a visit to one of Rome's most famous landmarks, the Spanish Steps.<br/> <br />Kerry, surrounded by security and media, enjoyed the sunny spring afternoon walking past the historic site and popping into a shop on a nearby street lined with luxury boutiques.<br/> <br />He could also be seen stopping at a street vendor's stall to buy a bag of roasted chestnuts which he munched as he continued his afternoon stroll through the historic center.<br/> <br />The U.S. Secretary of State is visiting the Italian capital for meetings on Libya.<br/> <br />He has also held talks with his counterparts from Britain, Germany, Italy and France and met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov to discuss the ongoing crisis in Ukraine.
