Mount Everest, the highest peak on earth, has been littered with rubbish left by repeated expeditions to its summit. <br /><br />Now Nepal is warning anyone climbing beyond base camp that they will have to bring at least eight kilos of rubbish back down – in addition to their own – or face legal action.<br /><br />Mount Everest has been climbed by more than 4,000 people<br />since the historic ascent in 1953 by Sir Edmund Hillary and<br />Sherpa Tenzing Norgay.
