Volunteers have stepped in to help take care of families who await news on the fate of their loved ones who were on board of the missing Malaysian Airline flight.<br /><br />As many fly to China to await news, the authorities are taking no chances: President Xi Jingping ordering security be stepped up on all aircraft leaving and entering China.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Rob McBride reports from Beijing.
