A Mexican drug lord who had been declared dead once before by authorities, then was believed to be alive, has apparently been killed in a shootout with police.<br /><br />Known as “El Mas Loco” or “The Craziest One”, Nazario Moreno led a criminal gang in the western state of Michoacan.<br /><br />He had converted to Christianity in the United States in the 1980s and spread his version of the gospel, claiming his troops were good Christians even if they smuggled drugs.<br /><br />The government announced he had been killed in 2010 in a firefight, but his body was never found.
