Explosion Rocks Building in Manhattan

<p>New York police and firefighters were responding to reports of a large explosion in East Harlem on March 12. Pedro Ramirez said he captured this video five minutes after the explosion. He lives in front of the building, which reportedly collapsed.</p><p>Authorities closed 116th Street from Fifth Avenue to Lexington Avenue, according to The New York Times. The footage was taken from Park Avenue between 116th and 117th. It shows a police car cordoning off the road, leading toward the site of the explosion on 116th.</p><br /><p>FDNY confirmed the explosion in Harlem on Twitter and posted a photo which pictures the same overground train tracks that are visible on the left side of Ramirez’s video.
