At least seven people died and up to 60 were injured when two five-storey buildings collapsed in New York, police said.<br /><br />The collapse happened after an explosion, thought to have been caused by a gas leak, according to New York mayor Bill de Blasio.<br /><br />Five people were still missing on Thursday, feared trapped in the rubble.<br /><br />The blast happened in a residential area of Upper Manhattan.
