There have been fresh street clashes in the Venezuelan capital Caracas between riot police and anti-government activists.<br /><br /> Angry confrontations have become a regular occurrence since a protest movement began a month ago, denouncing issues like corruption and shortages of basic products.<br /><br /> The government in Venezuela accuses Washington of stirring the country’s worst political troubles in a decade.<br /><br /> On Friday, Venezuelan Foreign Minister Elias Jaua lambasted his US counterpart John Kerry as “a murderer”.<br /><br /> But, as the latest victims of the violence were laid to rest, US officials say Venezuela is using them as a scapegoat, inventing accusations to distract from internal economic and political problems. <br /><br /> At least 28 people have died during the unrest against President Nicolas Maduro’s socialist government. More than 300 others have been injured.
