There have been more clashes in Venezuela one month on from the first outbreak in the capital.<br /><br />Violence erupted on Sunday when several thousand opponents of the country’s socialist government were prevented by police from marching on a military air base in Caracas.<br /><br />Over the past four weeks at least 28 people have died in the country’s worst unrest in a decade.<br /><br />Some 1,500 people have been arrested with 100 or so still detained.<br /><br />Militant opposition leaders and students have been protesting over a range of issues from crime and shortages of goods to the presence of Cuban advisers in Venezuela’s army and other state institutions.
