Ukraine’s foreign ministry has given the go-ahead to introduce a visa requirement for Russians visiting Ukraine.<br /><br />Ukrainian security chief Andriy Parubiy said the prospects of military confrontation between Russia and Ukraine were growing as tensions rise between the two neighbours.<br /><br />The Kyiv government is expected to ask the United Nations to declare Crimea a demilitarised zone and take measures for pro-Russian troops to leave the peninsula.<br /><br />Moscow will decide whether to mirror the move and introduce visas for Ukrainians visiting Russia after it is officially told of Kyiv’s new visa regime.
