If you are bored with usual khichdi recipe, chef Ruchi Bharani brings simple and easy to make quick homemade rice recipe with a twist. <br /> <br />Ingredients: <br />1/2 cup rice <br />1.5 cups corn (half crushed) <br />1/2 cup peas <br />1/2 cup milk <br />3/4 cup water <br />1/2 tsp ginger chilli paste <br />1 tsp sugar <br />1 tsp garam masala <br />1/4 cup grated coconut <br />Salt <br />1/8 tsp turmeric powder <br />Coriander leaves (chopped) <br /> <br />For Tadka: <br />2 tbsp ghee <br />2 pcs each (cinnamon, cloves, cardamom & bay leaves) <br />Boriya chillies <br /> <br />Method: <br />- Add ghee in a hot pressure cooker and add whole spices and boriya chillies <br />- Stir the tempering and add corn to it <br />- Cook the corn for a minute and add green peas to it <br />- Add rice, ginger chilli paste, sugar, garam masala, turmeric powder, grated coconut, salt, coriander leaves and mix everything well. <br />- Add milk, water to it and mix well everything well <br />- Cover the pressure cooker with lid for 3 whistles on high flame <br />- Let the pressure cooker cool completely before opening the pressure cooker. <br />- Give a final mix and serve hot <br /> <br />Director: Neha Sarkar <br />Camera: Vaibhav Dhandha, Kawaldeep Singh Jangwal <br />Editing: Pratik Jain <br />Creative Head: Kavya Krishnaswamy <br />Producer: Rajjat A.
