Struggling smartphone maker Blackberry has announced its to sell off large chunks of real estate in Canada in a bid to balance the books. <br /><br />Blackberry said the deal would see some three million square feet of office space and vacant land sold. <br /><br />The buyer and price has not been disclosed. <br /><br />The Canadian firm has said it will lease back some parts of its world headquarters based in Waterloo.<br /><br />Despite cutting thousands of jobs to make itself more competitive, the money losing phone maker continues to struggle against the iPhone and Android-based rivals.
