Activists in Egypt have released video footage that they say shows the mistreatment of young men and women in custody.<br /><br />They are among 50 youths accused of taking part in protests against the country's military-backed government.<br /><br />Some have been transferred from a juvenile prison in Alexandria to Tora prison in Cairo<br /><br />Those still held in Alexandria are between the ages of 12 and 15 and have been staging a hunger strike to protest the transfers.<br /><br />Their families accuse prison authorities of beating the youth and restricting access to them.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Nadim Baba reports.
