Grief and despair in China as Malaysia's Prime Minister announces that the Malaysia Airlines plane that disappeared more than two weeks ago crashed in the southern Indian Ocean.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (English) MALAYSIAN PRIME MINISTER NAJIB RAZAK, SAYING:<br/> <br />"This is a remote location, far from any possible landing sites. It is therefore with deep sadness and regret that I must inform you that according to this new data Flight MH370 ended in the southern Indian Ocean. We will be holding a press conference tomorrow with further details. "<br/> <br />The flight vanished from civilian radar screens less than an hour after take-off from Kuala Lumpur for Beijing on March 8. There were 239 people on board.
