EDITORS PLEASE NOTE - THIS EDIT CONTAINS GRAPHIC IMAGES<br/> <br />Two days after a kidnappers' den was uncovered in southwest Nigeria, residents continued to search the site around an abandoned building where human skeletons and body parts were uncovered, prompting a police investigation.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) UNIDENTIFIED RESIDENT SAYING:<br/> <br />"If human beings can be slaughtered and skulls are found everywhere littered, it's terrible, honestly. It's terrible. It's so painful. "<br/> <br />Blood stains, human skulls, clothes, shoes, and human hair were found in the area that had long been thought by some residents to be a haven for people with mental disabilities. Security personnel also rescued several people who appeared to have been severely malnourished.<br/> <br />Police don't yet have an explanation as to why the bodies were found there. Local residents believe it could have something to do with black magic rituals.
