Sixteen bodies have now been recovered after the devastating mudslide in Washington state. Eight more have been found but are as yet too difficult to remove.<br /><br />At least 90 individuals remain unaccounted for. Five days after a rain-socked hill collapsed search teams admit the remains of some may never be found.<br /><br />The slide ranks as one of the worst in the United States. In 1961, 150 people were killed in landslides and floods in Virginia.
