ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)<br/> <br />STORY: China's President Xi Jinping paid his respects at the tomb of the unknown soldier in the shadow of the Arc de Triomphe in Paris on Thursday.<br/> <br />Accompanied by his wife Peng Liyuan and the French minister in charge of veterans Kader Arif, Xi laid a wreath at the tomb commemorating France's war dead.<br/> <br />The ceremony was part of a three-day state visit to France which will also see Xi attend a concert and banquet at the Palace of Versailles later on Thursday.
