Russia’s Soyuz spaceship has finally docked with the International Space Station.<br /><br />Engine trouble delayed the arrival of the spacecraft carrying the two Russian cosmonauts and the American astronaut by two days.<br /><br />Soyuz blasted off successfully <br />from the Baikonur cosmodrome in Kazakhstan for the six-hour journey to the space station.<br /><br />Prior to docking a 24-second engine burn necessary to adjust the orbiting path failed and a fresh flight path was adopted.<br /><br />The craft arrived two days and two hours after it left earth.<br /><br />Everyone on board is safe and well.
