The murder trial of Oscar Pistorius was adjourned until April 7, when the South African track star is expected to take the stand in his own defence.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (English) PRETORIA HIGH COURT JUDGE THOKOZILE MASIPA, SAYING:<br/> <br />"We cannot proceed this morning, and we are also not sitting next week. One of my assessors is not well so this court is not properly constituted."<br/> <br />Prosecutors took 15 days to lay out their case against Pistorius, accused of murdering his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp last year, by firing a pistol through a closed toilet door.<br/> <br />Neighbours have testified hearing a woman's screaming before a series of shots.<br/> <br />Pistorius, on the other hand, has asserted that he mistook Steenkamp for an intruder hiding in the toilet.<br/> <br />If found guilty, the Paralympic and Olympic athlete faces at least 25 years in prison.
