Adam Clegg, Video Game Designer of Sony Online Entertainment talks about the new release of Planetside 2 on the Playstation 4.<br /><br />Update: Sony Online Entertainment has contacted us to confirm that this video footage is, as expected, fake. Looks like we'll have to wait a little longer before we can see PlanetSide 2 running on PS4.<br /><br />The whereabouts of PlanetSide 2 is fairly big concern for a lot of PS4 gamers who are as excited to play the open world MMOFPS as they are to actually play something new.<br /><br />A YouTube video detailing was is supposed to be PS4 gameplay footage and a clip of the PSN Store with a 26 May 2014 release date.<br /><br />However, the link attached to the YouTube video directing viewers to the PSN store only heads to placeholder page for PlanetSide 2. Hardly concrete evidence.<br /><br />And the gameplay itself is HUD-less, so there isn't really any indication that this is indeed PS4 footage. It could quite as easily been recorded from a PC with the HUD removed.<br /><br />Still, if you're hopeful like us you could be hopeful like us.
