A strange glitch that I found in this game. It's fairly easy to execute; all the player has to do is press both down and right on the d-pad while on a map screen(Rice Beach are one of the working places). However, it only works at spots where the player can move Wario down(but not to the right). If done correctly, the side-effects the player will experience depends on what level the player last were in. If no level was entered before executing the glitch, Wario will simply just stay at the same spot, with the controls locked(the sound effect of Wario walking will be heard as well. From what I've noticed so far, it appears this sound was intended to be heard on the map screens when moving Wario, but a bug in the game's programming prevents it from being heard, which may explain why this sound sometimes are heard when moving between levels on the map screens). <br /> <br />The glitch does not work on all map screens.
