Despite Russia's claim that it intervened in Crimea because of the threat of far-right groups, nationalist parties in Europe say they admire the Russians for defending their interests.<br /><br />An Hungarian MP from the nationalist Jobbik party told Al Jazeera that the annexation of Crimea by the Russians had created a "counterweight to the West".<br /><br />Far-right leaders in France and Slovakia have also voiced their support for President Vladimir Putin's position over the crisis in Ukraine.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Laurence Lee reports from the Hungarian capital, Budapest.
