Taipei's police department arrested a drug dealer ranking among Taiwan's most wanted earlier this week, as she made her way to pick up her 6-year-old daughter.

During the apartment bust, police discovered an illegal, underground casino in her home.

Authorities say they broke into the complex with such speed, that they found the gamblers, who didn't have any time to flee, still sitting around the table.

More than US$40,000 in cash and two large bricks of heroin, worth a combined total of over US$130,000, were lying, about to be wagered, on the table.

The suspect, a 33-year-old woman surnamed You (游), has been listed on Taiwan's most wanted list since last June on charges of dealing drugs.

She had recently moved to Taipei with her 6-year-old daughter, and reportedly opened an underground casino in her home.

Police got wind of the illegal establishment when they were notified of loud dice rolling sounds coming the apartment door.

Investigators searched the apartment and the five gamblers and found eleven bags of heroin, fourteen bags of amphetamines, a scale, drug paraphernalia, two large dice rolling bowls, two boxes of dice, and five ziploc bags, no doubt expected to be used to divvy up the winnings.

The owner of the casino and the gamblers are expected to face drug possession and criminal charges.
