Three Nobel winners have created an anti-radiation belt that's designed to be worn around the waist in order to protect renewable bone marrow — and may save lives in the case of a nuclear accident. Because a full body suit would weigh around 440 pounds, the smaller-scale belt allows for mobility as well as protection.
