Chinese health authorities on Wednesday confirmed the first human case of H10N8, a new strain of bird flu, in a previously unreported case involving an elderly woman in Jiangxi province who contracted H10N8 and died earlier this month.<br /><br />The 73-year-old woman had a history of visiting a local live poultry market in Jiangxi Province.
