Originally published on November 15, 2013 <br /><br />A Taiwanese tourist was killed and his wife kidnapped at a Malaysian resort around 1a.m. on Friday (November 15).<br /><br />According to reports, heavily armed men arrived at the Pulau Pom Pom resort by pump boat and ransacked three villas, one of which was occupied a Taiwanese couple, Lin Min Hsu, 57, and his wife An Wei Chang, 58. <br /><br />Hsu was found dead next to the door of the his villa with two gunshots to his chest. His wife is believed to have been seized by the gunmen. <br /><br />A supervisor at the resort heard gunshots at around 1 a.m. and reported to the General Operations Force. By 1:05 a.m., 15 members of the force led by a sergeant arrived at the scene<br /><br />Pom Pom island is a 45-minute boat ride from Semporna, Malaysia. The villas are built 800 m from the beach.
