South Korean PM visits submerged ferry

Amid powerful winds, pelting rain and strong waves South Korea's president viewed the stricken ferry, submerged off the coast of Jeju Island.<br/> <br />At least nine people are confirmed to have died and dozens have been injured since this ferry sank on Wednesday.<br/> <br />Around 290 people are still missing, many of them teenagers, who were on a school trip.<br/> <br />Park Geun-hye met distressed parents, telling them that every minute and every second was critical, and urging rescuers to hurry.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (Korean) SOUTH KOREAN PRESIDENT PARK GEUN-HYE SAYING:<br/> <br />"This wasn't supposed to happen, but it happened.
