'X-Men' director Singer accused of drugging and raping teenager.

Hollywood producer and director Bryan Singer has been accused of drugging and raping a teenage boy, according to a lawsuit filed at a U.S. court on Wednesday (April 16).<br/> <br />The legal action comes weeks before the release of Singer's upcoming X-Men movie "Days of Future Past".<br/> <br />The allegations are made by Michael Egan, who according to reports was 17 at the time. The now 31-year-old is seeking unspecified damages and a jury trial after wide-ranging abuses, which include rape and the use of alcohol and drugs on a minor.<br/> <br />The abuse allegedly took place at house parties in California and Hawaii in the late 1990s.<br/> <br />According to the documents filed in Hawaii, the director, known for his work on "The Usual Suspects" and various comicbook blockbusters, promised Egan roles in an X-Men movie and other projects in return.<br/> <br />Singer's legal team have meanwhile responded to the allegations, calling them "absurd and defamatory."<br/> <br />Egan and his lawyers are set to hold a press
