At least eight people are killed as a car bomb explodes in Baghdad.<br/> <br />More than 26 others were wounded in the attack in Sadr City Wednesday-- a mostly Shi'ite neighborhood.<br/> <br />Now destroyed cars line the streets.<br/> <br />Violence is becoming all to familiar.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE)(Arabic) UMM MOHAMMED , RESIDENT OF AREA, SAYING :<br/> <br />"What can I tell you. You can see by your eyes. The Prime Minister has servants and guards and they are leading a comfortable life -- and we are the victims."<br/> <br />In March alone close to 600 Iraqis were killed in acts of violence according to the UN.<br/> <br />This comes ahead of parliamentary elections April 30th with Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki seeking a third term .
